Salento Int’l fest to host ‘For My Daughter’

Iranian short film ‘For My Daughter’ has been selected to compete at the 18th edition of the Salento International Film Festival (Bisceglie) in Italy.

The short film centers on fighting social problems and issues.

This is the story of a family who have to make a tough decision because of their father’s addiction.

Written and directed by Mohammad Farajzadeh, the cast list of the short includes Ailin Teymouri, Madieh Amini, and Kianoush Karimi.

‘For My Daughter’ has previously competed at the 2021 LIMPA London Film Festival in the UK.

The Salento International Film Festival aims to promote films from around the world in order to be a link between cultures.

The upcoming edition of the festival will be held on September 7-12, 2021.
